I received my mermaid today, and being something of a decorating snob I wasn’t sure what to expect from the photos, but this is absolutely beautiful. The details are deep and extensive, the casting seams are smooth and low profile, and the patina is very authentic. She is truly a lovely piece, plus the seller shipped her the same day I ordered and she arrived only 3 days later in a sturdy box, well packed and undamaged in any way. To be honest, I saw this piece in a boutique in Key West but didn’t want to haul a 20 pound mermaid home in my luggage. I thought I’d order from the store later, but they went out of business before I could get it done. At that place she was $129.00, so I was skeptical that the one offered here was as nice for the low price, but it was identacle. So don’t worry, you’ll love this mermaid!
